
The CC Omaha community partner is Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance (OHKA) and they are currently made up of 6 staff people: Executive Director, Kara Eastman, an Assistant Director, 3 AmeriCorps members, and an EPA Grant Coordinator and Community Lead Educator (both through their EPA grant).
Current activities include operating a home dust testing kit program, creating a social marketing campaign, running a lead hotline, creating lead-safe housing programs, working with the EPA to run a dust testing and education program and operating 5 grant programs.
Original funding came from Union Pacific railroad through the Omaha Superfund Site. Our other sources of funding include private foundations, private foundations, private local companies, EPA, HUD, the City of Omaha, AmeriCorps, ClearCorps, and the U.S Conference of Mayors.





CLEARCorps works in partnership with families, property owners, community organizations and public agencies to create lead-safe communities.
